Sexuality Education and Issues Agenda (PDF)
Appropriate for all personnel across school
divisions, this special pre-conference symposium will address many of the
sexual health, safety, and wellness issues that have dominated the education
landscape in recent months: student on student sexual assault; affirmative
consent; adult sexual misconduct; sexting, use, and misuse of technology;
school/family partnership; and student relationships. Join us as we delve into
recent case studies and research, school policies, and classroom practices that
can help manage and mitigate these trends. We’ll also examine the role of
comprehensive sexuality education in supporting healthy sexual development.
Moderated by Debra Wilson, NAIS
Room: Hilton, Billie Holiday 4
